Each apothecary jar contains 35 aspen wood matches, with strike paper affixed to the bottom of the jar for easy lighting.
To light: Hold the match jar in one hand and the match in the other. Lightly drag the top colored tip of the match across the strike paper that is affixed to the bottom of the jar in a single quick motion. Wait a moment after the strike to allow it to ignite. Blow out once finished.
